Spec course Sea Module (Sea)

On top of the Land Specialist Course Module, Sea cadets also have to attend the Navy equivalent, the IMOS Specialist Course. Held at Changi Naval Base, the two day course focuses on Sea aspects including Rules of the Road and Bends & Hitches.

Qualified instructors teach and later evaluate the cadets with theory and practical tests, the combined results will determine the promotion of the cadets to either 2nd or 3rd Sergeant rank. A heavy emphasis is also placed on the turn out and bearing of the cadets, as specialist to be, they are going to be in leadership positions where their juniors look up to.
