Camp Pinnacle

Every year, NCC Units nominate their best two cadets for Camp Pinnacle. This four day camp includes familiarization visits to the various military facilities and training centres in Singapore from all three service arms, namely the Army, Navy and Air Force. Starting with Jungle Survival skills, a standard obstacle course, rock wall, rappelling and Individual Marksmanship Trainer (IMT) in the School Of Infantry Specialists (SISPEC) and the Singapore Armed Forces Training Institute (SAFTI),cadets gain an insight into the military life of the Army.

Cadets have the opportunity to visit Paya Lebar Air Base, where they visit the Air Museum for a heritage tour, and the rare chance to ride the RSAF Charlie 130 transport aircraft. While at Changi Naval Base, the Naval Diving Unit provides demonstrations as well as a tour on board the RSS Persistence. Thus, this camp is an eye-opener for the cadets. At the end of the camp, cadets receive the much-coveted Camp Pinnacle badge.
