Basic Diving Course

The Basic Diving Course is a collaboration between the Naval Diving Unit from the Navy and HQ NCC. It is a three weeks full-time residential programme specially designed and tailored for Officers, Cadet Officers and senior cadets of NCC who seek a more demanding and adventurous training.

The comprehensive package trains participants to use compressed air breathing apparatus confidently to a depth of 18m. The course also includes a open water dive in the East Johor Straits and culminates with a diving performance by the graduating participants. Graduands are also awarded the Basic Diving Badge.
