Basic Survival Course

NCC organizes this 2 day Survival Training Programme for selected Part C cadets as part of the adventurous training provided to the cadets.  It is also an incentive to reward deserving cadets who have been outstanding in training. Through this course, Cadets learn fire making skills, setting up of traps, construction of a basic shelter and basic first aid among other things.. To enhance cadets' confidence in navigating in the dark environment and terrain, all cadets will undergo a night confidence walk alone, with the guidance and supervision of the instructors. This training will emphasize and focus on Leadership Training, Character Building and Adventure Training, which equips our cadets with the essential skills of a leader. At the end of the course, cadets are awarded the Basic Survival Badge.
